The course examines the evidence relevant to the questions of whether global climate is changing and if human behavior is a cause; the ways that potential climate changes could be beneficial or harmful; the variation in the potential benefits and risks of climate change for different places and groups of people; the ways that individuals and society can respond to potential or actual climate change; the variety of reasons why people disagree about climate change.
